Zotero 7 Beta: Merging creates a self-related item

Steps to reproduce:
1) Create Journal Article item 1 with title "Test1"
2) Create Journal Article item 2 with title "Test2"
3) From "Test2", add Related item "Test1"
4) Select both items in the items list
5) Right-click -> Merge Items
6) Select the first one: "Test1"
-> It creates a self-related merged item.

I am not sure if the order is important.

I ended up having some ghost Related items after merging and emptying the Bin, which is probably related to the bug described above:

The apparition of the ghost items seems to be related to syncing.
0) Disable the automatic sync from the settings and restart Zotero.
1) Create Journal Article item 1 with title "Test1"
2) Create Journal Article item 2 with title "Test2"
3) From "Test2", add Related item "Test1"
3S) Sync
4) Select both items in the items list
5) Right-click -> Merge Items
6) Select the first one: "Test1"
-> This leaves one item "Test1" related to itself "Test1":

6S) Sync
-> Test 2 (in the Bin) appears in the related items:

7) Empty the Bin
-> Test 1 is only related to itself:
