1. As noted in the original style, supplements are generally poorly supported and have never been supported in PMC -- we can take a look, but likely won't be soon.
2. For issues with the add-on, file an issue on the github you link to, providing precise steps to reproduce and error description.
3. We'd need examples for this -- generally open access PDFs should work very well.
