Upgrade StorageZotero 7 Beta: Preview mode of the Info section in the Item Pane
I would like to get 3 display modes of the Info section in the Item Pane: Expanded, Preview and Collapsed. The Preview mode would only show the formatted citation as was done in the Citation Preview plugin or in the more developed Style Preview of the Settings.
When adding items to Zotero, it is nice to see quickly all the contents of the Info pane in the Expanded mode, so that missing or wrong information can be seen quickly.
But when navigating in my library to organize, read or annotate articles, I would like to get a more compact overview of all the information in the Item Pane.
- In Expanded mode, the Info section in the Item Pane can easily take most of the vertical space, hiding all the other information.
- In Collapsed mode, I nicely see the rest. But I would still prefer keeping a compact version of it.
The general use case of showing a Preview of the key citation information has been discussed before.. It would fit very nicely in the new design of the Info Pane.
