Zotero 7 Beta: Citation Dialog Unresponsive

The red citation dialog is unresponsive. Same for the yellow dialog. No standalone PDF opened, no plugin installed.
The classic dialog works.

macOS 13.6.3 (Intel)

Could you produce a Debug ID for opening the citation dialog and pressing Spacebar?

Wait, you're not even getting a blinking cursor in the dialog box? Seems like this could be caused by a config option. Could you go to your profile directory and rename prefs.js to prefs-bak.js, then restart Zotero?

Could you create a new temporary Zotero profile and see if it occurs there?

I had the issue with no blinking cursor at all, but that was in 55 with plugins enabled.

I created a new Zotero profile. It seems to work (while a bit slow), but I don't see what I type in the red bar. I then returned to the default profile, and it seems to work again (but I also cannot see what I type in the red bar). I have kept a backup of the default profile, before creating a new profile.

It's a dark mode issue, as the text becomes black and thus visible if you switch to light mode.
