Upgrade StorageWord closing when adding citation (the issue reappering for years in the discussion)
Hi,
Zotero has started actin up like discussed in numerous threads here and in other forums here now. When clicking on the Add citation buttion in Zotero in Word, it either crashes immediately or as soon as I select the citation.
Win 10, all updates, Word 365, all updates, Zotero installed from scratch to latest version. The same document opened on another PC with same Word version and Zotero freshly installed and connected seems to work just fine, but as I read that the problem tends to appear 2 hours after everything seems to work, I would not rely on that and that using another Windows profile or even reinstalling Windows would fix anything.

Is there a new approach to fix this issue? All threads I found back to 2016 did not offer a solution apart from reinstalling everything just to find it will happen again.

What version (full version number) of Word are you running? If you are running a Preview (Beta) build of Office/Word, you should report this to Microsoft, then switch to a non-preview build.
