1. Confirm that your item type is a journal article and not a web page.
2. Different citation styles have different requirements, you need to provide the citation style you are using and provide a correct example of it.

This is standard Vancouver style -- journal articles without page ranges are treated as online and have those details in line with Citing Medicine.

Does that sound acceptable to Journals? or need to change that before submitting manuscripts?

Does the journal just say "use Vancouver" or do they have specific guidelines beyond that? If you give us the name and a link to their guidelines it's easier for us to give advice.

Thanks very much. I just found out that I could choose the journal specifically in Zotero, do you think that is enough? So planning to publish in Animal Microbiome J and Aquaculture J sounds fine?
