Zotero 7 beta: Still auto-updates after disabling app.update.auto

I can't disable auto update either, I've set app. update. auto to false in the editor and it still updates to the latest version of zotero 7!

    app.update.auto was broken on Windows in the Zotero 7 beta. We've fixed that for the next beta — thanks for letting us know.

    But if you're going to disable automatic updates, 1) you shouldn't be running the beta to begin with, and 2) you won't receive any further support here going forward. We can only support current versions of Zotero.

    I just don't want to update to 7.0. 0-beta. 55 for now. because the UI has changed so much in this version that a lot of plugins don't work properly. I'll upgrade to the new version once the plugins are adapted.

    Please do let the plugin authors know that 55 breaks their plugin.
