Keywords in date fields
Hi.
This is just a thought I had that would make my using Zotero somewhat easier. I'm often citing material from online journals, so I use the "journal article" format. Since it's online, I make use of the URL and Accessed fields, but since the format type isn't "web page," it doesn't autofill the "accessed" field with the current date and time. One simple workaround, of course, is to use the handy "create new item from page" button, and then switch the type from "web page" to journal article (or whatever). This isn't too bad, but it occurred to me that it would be possible to skip a step if the date fields recognized keywords like "today", "yesterday", etc. and formatted a date accordingly. So for example I'd type "today" in the field and when I move focus to another field, the word "today" would update with the actual date.
This is obviously a minor thing, but I think it would be pretty cool, and possibly easy to implement.
