Zotero 7 Beta: Classic Add Citation Dialog - search function not working?

I am just getting used to the new Zotero 7 Beta, which I find altogether brilliant. (A huge thanks to all the developers!) However, since I am wedded to the Classic Add Citation Dialog, I encountered a potential issue. When trying to use the search function in the dialog window, nothing happens, i.e. no search result is produced. I do have a large library (in excess of 30k items), but the search function worked perfectly fine in prior versions. When switching to the newer in-text citation dialog, I can find items alright, so the problem seems to lie with the classic dialog. Any help with this problem would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks — we'll fix.

(Just to note, though, you can now select items in Zotero itself and insert those from the quick-format dialog, which makes the classic citation dialog largely obsolete.)
