Impossible to resize the standalone app window on mac?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to resize the main window. The green full-screen button in the top left corner is grayed out, and I can't drag the edges to resize. I haven't found any preferences to change this. Am I blind? I would imagine it to be a standard feature. Can anyone help?

    Not sure how you ended up like that, but I would try closing Zotero and restarting your Mac.

    That worked! Now I feel stupid, but content. Thanks! I keep forgetting the first rule of IT assistance.
