Upgrade StorageZotero proxy username and password not updating

Every time I start Zotero, it asks me for my proxy username and password even though I have checked the box "Use password manager to remember this password". It started doing this at some point when I changed passwords and since this time I have not managed to update the saved password, so it prompts me every time I start Zotero. How can I fix this? I am not really sure where Zotero saves the password, so I am having trouble identifying how to remove the old password so maybe with a clean start it will save the new password. I was unable to find it in settings and the only information I found about Zotero and proxies was with respect to the Zotero firefox connector, but I didn't see the proxy settings their either.
I am running Zotero 6.0.27 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS. One possible reason for this issue is that I am using the zotero-snap. I know, I should use the official zotero release, but I have been using the snap on this computer for a long time and it is all configured how I want it, so I am reluctant to change. If this is the issue (which is not certain), then perhaps you can just direct me to the correct place find the proxy settings so that I can reset them manually.
