Zotero 7 Beta bug report ID 2072459302 (syncing problem)

1. Sync library
2. Error symbol, (white exclamation point in a red circle) next to the sync gren arrow on the top right corner
3. Click on symbol - error report message

This happens almost everytime I sync my library. Note that I connect to the same library with Zotero 6 portable (but I always make sure I close my software before opening the other - and I usually don't open the other instance right away).

    Are you running any non-standard security software on this computer? If so, try disabling it.
  • Thanks for the quick answer. I'm using Bitdefender Total Security.

    After trying various changes in parameters, it's only when I turned it off completely that Zotero synced without problem.
    One of the solutions that didn't work (in case someone else runs into the same problem): adding zotero to the exception list (antivirus and firewall).

    For now, I'll make it work by switching BD off/on while syncing.
    If you have a long term solution though, I'll take it :)
