[bugreport] PDFs are blurry on Windows High-DPI
If I set Windows to any other scaling than 125%, 150% or 200%, PDFs get blurry. This is not a problem on Linux and likely not on MacOS. I tried Zotero 6 and 7.
You can reproduce the problem by setting different scaling in about:config, using the setting: "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx"
I'm doing a lot of reading and got 2 4k screens to have sharper text. I have set Windows to 175% scaling, as this is the closest to the 163 ppi of my screen. But with the default setting, the readability of many papers is worse on the high-dpi screen compared to the low-dpi screen.
As a work-around I set "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" to 2.0, but this gives me problems on my lower resolution laptop screen as the UI doesn't automatically scale down anymore.
This is a firefox issue, I just wanted to raise awareness with the zotero developers, since nobody at Mozilla seems to feel responsible for that bug:
