Synchronization stopped without any apparent reason [6.0.30 / Windows]

For some strange reason my Zotero database has stopped synchronizing (Zotero 6.0.30, Windows). I tried to reconnect to the database, but this does not solve the problem.

Also (not sure whether this is related), I don't get information on whether a Zotero update is available.

I would be extremely grateful for any hints on how this could be fixed. Many thanks in advance!
