Inquiry about Zotero Integration with Microsoft SharePoint
I am currently exploring the integration possibilities between Zotero and Microsoft SharePoint. I have checked the official documentation, but I couldn't find information on whether Zotero supports integration with SharePoint.
For Word, you can't use Zotero in Word online (i.e. on the Sharepoint link) but you _can_ use it when accessing documents shared via SharePoint using Word Desktop.
Word online integration is generally planned but very likely not super soon.
In fact, this is what I would like to achieve with Zotero:
- We are a company with several workstations connected via Microsoft Sharepoint.
- Each workstation contains documents.
- All the documents of all the workstations are gathered in Microsoft Sharepoint.
- We want to use Zotero to enable each workstation to search or view all the documents contained in Microsoft Sharepoint.
- To achieve this, we believe that Zotero needs to be integrated with Microsoft Sharepoint.
Please note that this does not mean using Zotero with Microsoft Word online.
Here's an example that might illustrate what we want to do:
There are 4 workstations. Each of workstations 1, 2, 3 and 4 contains documents which are all stored in Microsoft Sharepoint. For example, the idea is to enable workstation 1 to search via Zotero on the database contained in Microsoft Sharepoint (a database containing all the data from all the workstations) and thus have access to the documents of workstation 2, 3 and 4 and view/search them using keywords.
