Inconsistant Bracket Using Zotero IEEE referencing on Word

Ive been writing on word with multiple citations. However, i noticed that the citations bracket behaves inconsistently.

Some of my citations uses this "-" For examples, "[6]–[8]", "[12]–[14]" etc.

Then there are times, it give out "[15], [16]", "[9], [10]".

What can i do to make it more consistent?

It is consistent (you can see the en dash is used with more than 2 citations) and was following the 2021 guidelines, V 01.29.2021.

But it seems there is a need to update the style. Per the 2023 guidelines, V 11.29.2023:

Reference ranges in text will not include an en dash. All references will be written out. For example, “[1]–[4]” will now be “[1], [2], [3], [4]”
