Webdav with multiple profile

Hi,
I would like to ask whether using the same webdav server is possible for two different profiles.
I have profiles A and profiles B. One of them is work related. And I would like to sync both of the libraries using pcloud server. I have already synced profile A using webdav. However, if I add sync option for profile B, will I lose my library in profile A? Or will it be perfectly fine?

Thanks,
  • You can't share the 'zotero' folder on the WebDAV server between profiles. You should move the 'zotero' folder into a dedicated parent folder, point one profile at that, and then create another in another parent folder.
  • I do not want to share the WebDAV server between profiles. I wonder whether same webdav server can be used for both profiles to sync separately. The parent folders are different for both profile A and profile B (zotero_profile_A and zotero_profile_B). Can the same webdav server be used for both profiles to sync? I mean, can I still reach my both profile libraries separately when I use my personal and work computer? Do not want to mess with the current library before trying multiple profiles.

I told you exactly what to do. You just need to be using different 'zotero' folders on the WebDAV server in the two profiles. I'm not sure what else you're asking.
  • (But using multiple profiles is an advanced configuration, so if you're still confused by this, I would strongly recommend not using multiple profiles.)
  • Thanks for the info. One last question, though, to make it clear from my side.

For instance, for the pcloud webdav service (https://webdav.pcloud.com:443/zotero), since we cannot use different folders, this is not possible with pcloud? Is that right?
