Linking to page of my document in a bibliography entry

Hi,
I'm working with Zotero in LibreOffice 7.6 and will have to add an interview into the appendix of my document. Due to our guidelines I will have to add this into the bibliography like this:

Doe, John. Interview from 2024/01/06, cf. appendix B (p. 20).

Thus, I will have a reference to my appendix enumeration (B) that might change, and to the page number of this appendix section which changes, too, of course.

Is there any way to do that with Zotero? I'd need to add an entry in Zotero and use some magic variables in e.g. the page field, just like I can insert references to a chapter in libreoffice itself.

Of course I can format this entry myself in LO, but then I will have to manually insert it into the bibliography after I let Zotero create it, and every time I need to update it, my own entry would vanish.

Any ideas how this might be achieved...?
cu,
Frank
  • There isn't a way to customize the Zotero Bibliography entries like that and as you have noted, Zotero will remove any manual edits to the bibliography whenever it needs to update it, so your best bet is to manually change that part of the bibliography before submitting your document.
  • Ok, I'll do so! Thanks!
