Currently in the Zotero (v6) Library it is possible to add a column "Journal Abbr.", which shows the journal abbreviated name, if available. If the item does not have a defined Journal Abbreviation property, it displays empty, even if the same item has the "Publication" field defined.
I happen to have many items in my library which have a "Publication" value defined, but for which "Journal Abbr." is empty.
I think it would be useful to have a column "Journal Abbr. or Publication", that displays "Journal Abbr." if it has a value, and otherwise defaults to "Publication".
