Help: not syncyng and unable to send error report

Dears,
I cannot sync form this machine, a mageia linux system:
Linux Octopus 6.5.13-desktop-6.mga9 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sun Dec 17 22:42:25 UTC 2023 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Current version Zotero 6.0.30
Trying to sync always get Timeout error, tryning to generate an error report waits forever. The text of the report is:

This is my work machine at the university. There was a proxy server until a few weeks ago, I was not using zotero at that time. Recently, there was a hack problem, main server was blocked, and now is working but the proxy is removed. AFAIK, I erased all references in linux to the proxy. I can connect to the internet without problems except zotero. I do not find any proxy reference in zotero config, even editing about:config.

Setting network.proxy.type to 0 (was 5) cured the problem.

OK, that shouldn't be necessary and might cause problems in the future, though. 5 means to use the system proxy settings, so if you actually cleared your system proxy settings and restarted Zotero, it wouldn't continue using a proxy. So something was likely still set to use a (now-defunct) proxy in your system.
