141790002 - problema al convertir archivos word de zotero 1.0 a 2.0

Estoy usando Firefox 3.6 y zotero 2.0rc5, con WinWord 2003 en español; uso “campos”. Hice el upgrade de zotero 1.0.10 a 2.0rc5 y en todos los archivos escritos con anterioridad, al convertirlos ahora a zotero 2.0, pierdo las referencias bibliográficas (todas las citas hechas aparecen como “item inexistente en la biblioteca”. En realidad, los ítemes están en la biblioteca… pero luego de la conversión a zotero 2.0 parece no reconocerlos en los archivos viejos, hechos en zotero 1.0

¿Como hiciste el upgrade? En algún momento ¿has exportado tu biblioteca de Zotero?
¿Tienes un back-up de la base de datos antes del upgrade? ¿En que forma?

Actualicé primero Firefox de una vesión 3.5 (creo que 3.5.7) a 3.6; luego actualicé zotero 1.0.10, a zotero 2.0rc5. Allí me reconoció la biblioteca completa que ya tenía. Luego abrí un archivo ya escrito y ahí tuve el problema. Tengo back up de todo como para volver a usar zotero 1.0.10 si fuera necesario.... por un tiempo... ya que necesito seguir escribiendo y usando zotero para los archivos "en uso".
Alguna vez, hace mucho, había usado la opción "exportar biblioteca". Pero hace mucho. Generalmente cambio de computadora, y llevo manualmente la biblioteca reemplazando la carpeta C:\Documents and Settings\David\Datos de programa\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\biz0pvc3.default\zotero

¿Como hiciste el traslado de los datos?

hmm parece todo en orden - la manera de trasladar los datos entre computadoras está bien como lo describe droldan.

Se solucionó! (parcialmente). Primero hice el upgrade en la Laptop; ahí tuve este problema. Increíblemente la reinicié y ahora convierte los archivos word hechos en zotero 1.0 a 2.0 sin problemas!
En la nueva PC instalé directamente Firefox 3.6 y zotero 2.0 y simplemente hice "sync" y aparecieron todos los ítems de mi biblioteca. Ahora tengo el problema con algunos ítems en esta nueva PC; pero si copio los archivos desde la laptop, ya "convertidos" a zotero 2.0, ya no tengo problemas en la nueva PC. (si algo no se entiende, avísenme). Gracias por sus respuestas!

I think you're probably describing this issue, noted on the 2.0 page and the plugin installation page:

Documents used with the Zotero 1.0 plugins must be upgraded to work with Zotero 2.0 on the same computer on which they were previously used. If you upgrade them on a different, synced computer, you may end up with mismatched citations.

Exactly! That was the problem, Dan.
Which is the best way to use 2 computers? I mean, the best is export the library coping the zotero folder on
C:\Documents and Settings\David\Datos de programa\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\biz0pvc3.default\zotero
"manually"; or using the "sync" function? In this process I suspect that we have some troubles with "old files" (zotero 1.0 converted to 2.0) using another computer (no the origianl in which the conversion of the documents was made)

Using sync is certainly fine, but you just need to upgrade and re-save 1.0 documents on the same computer on which they were last used before the Zotero 1.0->2.0 upgrade. You can then copy the upgraded documents to the other synced computers.

Thanks Dan!
For the first time, I copied the library folder "manually" to the other computer, and then, with new items in the libray (added on zotero 2.0 version), I "synced" the librery and worked perfectly. This, I think, reduced the risk of duplicate the entire library (that was one of the problems I had today, with the 2 computers and the "synch" button. Excuse me, but I don't remember exactly the step I took when I had that "duplication problem".
