How to insert bibliography into word without having cited before

I think it is great that while working in Word, one can directly insert zotero citations in its document, and then even insert the bibliography for that citation. But I wonder if it is posible to insert bibliography without having cited before. Sometimes I just want to put some bibliography information in the endnote, not having an corresponding citation.
Pressing the button "Insert bibliography" (withou citation) , I am always asked to put a citation first. Why? Can I change that?
  • You can ctrl-click selected items in zotero. Then you are given a context-menu where you can select "create Bibliography from selected items" and in the following dialog you can "copy to clipboard". Then you can switch to word and insert the bibliography. Alternatively you can click ctrl-shift on selected items in zotero and then insert them in word.
