Any way to do this and keep links to the Zotero endnotes from the word doc?

Edit: This is probably not an appropriate resource for this issue because, according to adamsmith's comment below, Google Docs cannot handle endnotes.

Right, but endnotes? Can Google handle those at all? It definitely can't create them

I was just pointing to the appropriate resource on moving between word processors. But I edited my previous comment, as well as this one, because of the important point raised by adamsmith.
