rc5 sync issue

Hi again,

Upon updating to rc5 I have got the following message when trying to sync.

"The file 'jp0105488%2Ef2s.tif' is in use and cannot be updated. Please close the file or restart your computer and try syncing again."

I have since deleted this file from the library and restarted my pc to no avail. I have submitted the error report with ID 1048533726.

  • I suspect you simply didn't empty the Zotero trash, but you shouldn't need to do delete the file.

    Do you have anti-virus software installed?

    I've exactly the same problem. I deleted the file from my two Zotero (on 2 computers) and from the website, but still have this message (bug report 1660925358).
    What is the Zotero trash ? I didn't see it...
    I use Symantec Antivirus 10 on the computer with the error message, and Avast! 5 on the one without error message.
  • The Zotero trash is in the left pane of Zotero, but first try disabling your anti-virus software.
  • Thanks, emptying the trash worked well...I can't disable my antivirus software, because this is a professionnal computer and this function is locked.
    By the way, I think I'm gonna get googles... I never noticed the trash was there !!!
