Upgrade Storage[Z7] sluggish UI due to sync

It's been discovered that whenever there's a sync with zotero (I have webdav enabled), the UI is rendered very slow. Everything still works, no crash or error, just slow. Once syncing completes, everything resumes rapid.
I vaguely remembered that something similar happened during the early release of Z7 but can't find the forum post just yet.
