Zotero 7 Beta: Two reader bugs (negative index when searching EPUB + toolbar shifts)
Version: Zotero-7.0.0-beta.52+2f8e536f2_linux-x86_64
--> Testing occurred with a clean profile and data directory
#1 - Negative search indexes when searching EPUB in reader mode
Steps to reproduce:
1 - Download https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/84.epub3.images
2 - Drag the file into your Zotero library
3 - View the file within Zotero
4 - Ctrl + f
5 - Search for "rapidity and" (omit the quotation marks)
--> The first occurrence will be highlighted and the search pane will display 1/1
6 - Press the previous-occurrence button in the search pane
--> The search pane will display 0/1
7 - Press the previous-occurrence button in the search pane
--> The search pane will display -2/1
I was not able to reproduce similar behavior with a PDF or an HTML snapshot.
#2 - Annotation toolbar buttons shift depending on width of page labels
Steps to reproduce:
1 - Download https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/84.epub3.images
2 - Drag the file into your Zotero library
3 - View the file within Zotero
4 - Navigate to page 11
5 - Scroll up to page 9 (page 10 is skipped when scrolling)
--> Notice that the annotation toolbar buttons have shifted slightly to the left because "9" is narrower than "11"
Should the toolbar buttons remain in the same location regardless of page?

2) We'll try to improve it.
Thanks for reporting.
