get my libraries from the zotero site to my local zotero

I had to erase my computer disk and downloaded zotero again. Now I want to get my libraries from the zotero site to my local zotero. Sounds like syncing might replace what's on the zotero with the local zotero which contains nothing. How do I get my library on the zotero site to my local zotero. I don't see any instructions that seem to explain. Thanks

Just sync. You can obviously start using a new computer without wiping out your online library. It will just pull down your library.
