I am trying to edit my citation style from APA to Vancouver. When I do this it gives me the back end coding before the number in the text.

    What do you mean by "back end coding"? Can you take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), and provide a link here, or email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? (We'll respond here either way.)

    Or maybe you're just seeing Word field codes?
