Collection not exporting to Excel

I want to export my collection to Excel (spreadsheet format) so I can see all my articles, organized by author, title, etc. I am right-clicking export on the collection, but when I open it after it downloads only the headers of the spreadsheet show up, and none of the articles. What can I do?
