Need a way to change the underline "highlight" color

I use underlines a lot when annotating pdfs, but in the Zotero 6 pdf viewer, I can barely see what's underlined. The Zotero viewer displays underlines done in an external pdf annotator as a dark gray highlight, so dark that the underlined text is obscured. Zotero doesn't do underlines, AFAIK, so there's no obvious interface which can change this color.

Is there some configuration option that can do it?
