Upgrade StorageItems disappearing from library
HI there - the other day, I dragged some items from a sub-collection to a sub-sub-collection within that. They were suitably copied, and then I REMOVED (did not delete) the originals. The next day, I found that those items had disappaeared from my library. This was quite frustrating, as you might imagine.
Then the next day I found that one of my sub-sub-collections (one of the one whose items had disappeared) had itself disappeared.
What's going on? Can I trust Zotero to keep my links and documents organized anymore, or are things going to keep disappearing on a random basis?

What you describe is impossible to replicate - unless you provide more specific steps and context (and even then it might be hard). We don't even know which Zotero you're on, if you have synced, where your database is etc. First step would be to check for database integrity in the advanced tab of your Zotero preferences I guess.
Generally speaking, Zotero uses a very reliable database structure and yes, you can trust it to do what it is supposed to do. As a matter of experience, 99 out of 100 such cases of data-loss are caused by the user and not by the software.
