Group library data storage

Hello,

I have created a group library with my colleagues and upgraded the storage to save more PDFs, allowing group members to access these files.

Initially, we opted to use our shared Google Drive as the data storage directory to have a backup. However, since then, we've been encountering numerous warnings and errors indicating that the data has been altered by another user, etc.

Now, my question is, if we maintain the data storage directory on our local PCs, is there a risk of losing all the PDFs in the group library? For example, if our computers and the group library crash, how can we restore all our PDFs?
I want to be sure that our data is safe

Thank your for your help

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but if you mean that you have your Zotero data directory in a cloud storage folder, you absolutely can't do that.

Synced data and files should obviously be safe, but you can back up your local Zotero data like any other important data.
