Managing/attaching emails - annotate notes

Hi,

First, I do not know what kind of files are expected to be attached as emails. Maybe *.eml files or other email formats. In that case, does Zotero have the ability to open them as pdf's, not through any other software?

Apart from that, as the email content is what have interest, I copy and paste it to a note for the email item. Then, it would be very useful to annotate the email, so, that note. Would it be possible therefore to annotate notes?
