Zotero 7 - annotation comment appears off of screen in 2 column PDF

I have a 2 column PDF with a highlight that starts at the bottom of the first column and continues to the top of the second column. This annotation has a comment added to it. When I click on it to view the comment, the comment appears beyond the bottom edge of the screen.
