I haven't found a solution to this problem in the forums. I'm working with:
OpenOffice 3.1.1
Firefox 3.5.7
Zotero 2.0
OOo plugin 3.0a6
In new documents, everything works fine. The zotero toolbar is there, and I have full functionality. The problem is with a large document (my dissertation) I created using zotero 1.0 and Word for Mac X (previously discussed in the thread report-id-1981607681). I can insert new citations into this document without any problem, but it doesn't seem to recognize any of the existing citations (eg, to recognize an identical previous citation and replace the current with "ibid"). The "refresh" function in zotero also isn't working, in that it doesn't update any existing citations in the OOo document. It seems I need to debug this document, which was my initial problem in the previous thread (using zotero 1.0 and Word X). Hoping the error message might contain some clues.

dstillmanIf you were using Fields mode rather than Bookmarks mode in the original document, you can't open it in OO and access the existing Zotero citations. Only Bookmarks mode provides cross-word-processor compatibility.
