Use zotero field in citation style if not null

I'm in the process of switching from EndNote to Zotero. I imported my whole library with custom fields and now I'm thinking about one thing. How do I use Zotero field (e.g. archive) when citing chapter in edited book? Let's have a look at a portion of a style I'm editing:

term name="editor" form="short">
single>red.
multiple>red.
/term>

Instead of red. I'd like to use archive field. Is it possible? If so, is it possible to use red. when there is no archive field (it is empty)?
