What is the best way to MOVE one or several citations to a new folder in Zotero

I am searching for the quickest way to effectively MOVE one or several citations to a new folder in Zotero, for example to correctly file them if they were initially categorized improperly.

    Select the files, copy them to the correct collection by dragging them over. They should still be selected in the original collection & that original collection should still be what is displayed. You can then just hit the delete key to remove the selected items from the old collection.
