Creating bibliography that only includes in-text citations

Greetings.

When reading and doing research for an upcoming paper I add plenty of things to Zotero which I find interesting and relevant to the subject.
Once I have written the paper I may not have actually used and cited everything that´s in the relevant folder in my zotero library.
Is there a way for zotero to intuitively detect the in-text citations of my document and create a bibliography just from that?

If you use the Zotero word processor integration your bibliography will be created automatically with only the cited items in your document.

The typical user will have many more items in their library than they cite in any single manuscript or report.

In terms of "intuitively detect the in-text citations of my document and create a bibliography just from that", that can happen if you use unformatted citations in the form {Smith, 2009} in your document, then save the document (temporarily) in RTF format. Then used RTF Scan within Zotero and select a style for your citations/bibliography. The word processor plugin is not required for that.
