editing citation style for my thesis
Hello to everyone,
and thanks in advance to who will want ot help me!
I am editing my thesis for an Italian University and I would like to edit the perfect style to follow the formatting rules wanted by my . The closest model I have found in the Zotero Repository is the "Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition with Ibidem". It seems very close to my format, but:
1) I do not want that at the end of every citation will always appear the DOI code, even if is extremely useful to keep it int he item of my Zotero library;
2) I want that the URL address will appear just if in Zotero the item is saved as a web page;
3) I would like a way to select "ivi" and not "ibidem" when the citation is in the same page of the volume;
To be clearer the model I have to adopt is the following:
Normal font: Surname and Initial Letter of the author + Italic: title + Normal font: Place and year of publication not separated by comma + final dot.
I am a humanities student, so I really cannot understand "una cippa" of programming language. I have tried to ask to Chat GPT to modify the code of the editor for me, but something went wrong. Who can help me to speed up the process in the best way?
Thanks a lot,
