When I try to relink a citation, Zotero opens the Connector Authorization Complete page, which does not close automatically. Afterwards, Zotero does not allow me to relink the citation.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Select unlinked citation in Google Docs
2. Click 'Edit With Zotero"

Zotero opens Connector Authorization Complete page in new browser window. Page does not close automatically.

What version of macOS and Safari are you running? Could you create a new temporary macOS account and see if it works there?

I'm running Ventura 13.6 on macOS and Safari 17.0. I don't think that I could create a new macOS account because I don't have administrative access.

It turns out this would've just been due to the permissions you granted the Zotero Connector. If this still isn't working for you in Safari, see here:
