Importing files and folders

I know we can drag and drop files in Zotero, but is it possible to import files and folders?

I use mine for Genealogy and have a lot of files in folders and dragging and dropping is taking too long.

There's a plugin that can import a hierarchy of folders:

A future version of Zotero will also support this natively.
