Upgrade StorageSafari Zotero Connector: Citation Generator Keeps Crashing?

Hi, I downloaded Zotero a couple weeks ago and have been attempting to use it with Google Docs. But for some reason, every time I try to generate a citation or bibliography or any such thing, the doc freezes and launches a new window with "Connector Authorisation Complete", see screenshot here. And then Zotero also freezes with this weird RED BAR in the middle. I don't know what to do, I've restarted the browser, Zotero, my computer...
Can anyone help?

adomasvenCould you create a new macOS user account temporarily and see if you can reproduce the issue there?

zahramlYeah, same thing keeps happening with a new account. I read on the forums that it might be a Google issue (back in November) and decided to wait to see if the problem goes away once Google works on fixes, but it's still the same for me.

adomasvenSorry for taking a while to respond. In case you need to use Google Docs it works fine with Chrome or Firefox, but we are trying to find a reason why it doesn't work for some people using Safari. Are you saying that you created a new macOS user account and got the same issue there - the Zotero authentication window wouldn't close?
