"Empty" installation of Zotero
After attempting to update Zotero on my Windows 10 work computer, the installation runs smoothly, but after the process, the new Zotero folder is empty with regards to all major files, also the very program itself. I have tried to uninstall and re-install multiple times now. Do you know of a solution to this problem?
Thank you.

Thank you.

I cannot open Zotero, so I cannot send a Report ID, I'm afraid.
I'd love to provide you with more details, but I don't know how to in my current situation.
I can provide you with the exact steps for what I did:
1. Zotero asked to be updated (because of my work computers settings, the program cannot update automatically)
2. This I had experienced before and I had just installed the newest version from zotero.org 'on top' of the old one.
3. So that's what I did, I downloaded the install/setup and followed it through (I might have asked it to install the program at a different destination than last time?)
4. After installation, I can't open Zotero and the folder misses the program.
5. I uninstalled/deleted everything on my PC related to Zotero and tried to install again - the same thing happened.
Let me know if you need anything more from me.

But you should uninstall Zotero if it appears in Add/Remove Programs, delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero, and restart your computer, and then reinstall Zotero from the download page. If there's a problem after that, security software on your computer is likely interfering with the Zotero installation, and you'll need to debug that on your end (or with your IT department if necessary).
