Upgrade StorageAndroid app vs. tutorial for using other apps with sdcards
I was wondering whether the Zotero programmers would reveal the estimation for the Android app release or beta release date.
Earlier the year, I mentioned the possibility to use an sdcard for file storage and third-party apps for the Zotero entries. Apart from using flat files, it might be another option for having the library on the go, say, on field trips without Starlink.
If your app is dropping by Spring 2024, I think, people with existing libraries can easily wait and use the flat files or buy an iPhone (despite the inflation and lackluster consumer sentiment). Otherwise, I can say that third-party apps are doing well enough.
