Mixing Zotero 6 and 7 beta

Assuming my backing store is on a WebDAV server, is there any danger in accessing it from Zotero 6 on one machine and Zotero 7 beta on another?

As stated here [1], it should not cause problems. But it's always better to be cautious with important data
