Upgrade StorageOption To Download Attachments from Group Library Only As Needed
As an option for group libraries, I would like to see the ability at the group or group collection level for syncs to not include attachments. I'd like the database to be synced and for new attachments to be uploaded to the group library, but that attachments only be downloaded from the Zotero server when the attachment is opened.
As I understand it, syncing currently includes downloading all the attachments to the Zotero client computer. If you have hundreds of pdfs in a group, syncing could take quite a long time plus consume a lot of Zotero server resources. Perhaps the option could also be made to sync attachments only with the group owner's computer.
