Unable to Automatically Add a Book from a University Catalogue
Dear All:
It's frustrating when you follow directions exactly and nothing happens...
I'm trying to import a book's bibliographic data from Melvyl, the University of California electronic catalogue, to the righthand pane of Zotero, according to these directions in Zotero's FAQ:
"Find a book on your library catalog website. A Zotero book icon will appear in the location bar at the top of your Firefox window. Click on the icon, and the bibliographic information will appear on the right side of your Zotero pane."
If I'm so far unable to get this wonderful feature to work, what might I be doing wrong?
Thank you in advance.
Jeff

It sounds like you are doing everything as you should. Zotero is not compatible with the current version of Melvyl, but the new version of Melvyl, slated to launch around Labor day will be. So in just a few weeks the full catalog should be Zotero compatible.
