Upgrade StorageSync folder

Typically, cloud storage services, when they have the option to synchronize with a computer, create a folder in the operating system that contains all the files synchronized with the service.
In the case of Zotero, I noticed that there is a sync option, but I can't find a corresponding folder on my computer that contains my files. Does this folder exist? If so, could you tell me the way to access it?

Thank you for your quick and accurate reply.
And I realise that I didn't phrase my answer correctly. I wanted to be able to see all my PDFs in a single folder, but the link you sent me made me aware of the "smart folder" tool. Something very interesting and useful in OS that I didn't know about.
So I went to https://cynmackley.com/2019/02/19/does-windows-have-smart-folders and created one on my Win 10.
