There needs to be a menu bar on my Zotero. I would have not even known it was missing if I had not watched some tutorial videos. I am using a Mac, running Sonoma 14.1. Can anyone help?
I'm not sure what menu bar you're referring to, but I'd guess that you're using the Zotero web library. All documentation is going to be about the Zotero desktop app, which you can install from the download page.
