Zotero 7 will it be possible to selectively sync / not sync collections or groups?

I use Zotero in an unorthodox way in that I not only use it for citing and writing but also as a MODS converter. When I use it as a MODS converter I am importing about 350-plus records each day, exporting the records, and then deleting them. I'd like to have auto-sync turned on but thrashing that many deleted records feels like unnecessary traffic to the Zotero server.
